Thanks to the powerful built-in battery, the STRATUS III can be operated for up to 3 years (the effective battery life-time depends on the number of position reports). An alarm by e-mail, SMS or system telephone call informs as soon as the STRATUS III is removed from the object or if the battery voldays might fall below 50 %.
