Locating device
With the unique ConnectedTrailer and the VELUMplus terminal device, mobile goods such as trailers, semi-trailers or construction machinery can be transparently displayed in operational processes with unprecedented cost efficiency. This is possible because the VELUMplus works in the so-called 0G network and thus has an extremely efficient energy management system, which enables a battery life of several years. As soon as the VELUMplus is attached to the mobile object, it detects the movement of the object and sends a locating position once an hour. The accuracy of the location and the number of received positions depends on the coverage in the region used. Ideally, objects equipped with the VELUMplus can be located with an accuracy of up to 10 metres.
